ColdChain

Cold Chain for Logistics

A cold chain is a temperature-controlled supply chain. It consists of a series of refrigerated production, storage and distribution activities, along with associated equipment and logistics, which maintain a desired low-temperature range. It is used to preserve and to extend and ensure the shelf life of products, such as fresh agricultural produce, seafood, frozen food, photographic film, chemicals, and pharmaceutical drugs. Unlike other goods or merchandise, cold chain goods are perishable and always en route towards end use or destination, even when held temporarily in cold stores and hence commonly referred to as cargo during its entire logistics cycle.

The Cold Chain for Logistics solution is built on Trainable Sensor Network (TSN) technology and uses heterogeneous sensors and neural networks to monitor equipment and product parameters then autonomously and preemptively mitigates potential product issues with real time notifications.  ChainLinq secure distributed ledger technology allows greater visibility, efficiency and innovation to transform your supply chain.

RoadLinq rugged wireless IoT connectivity provides real-time data for temperature through entire transport process.  RoadLinq is designed for logistics and off-road applications that demand ruggedness and network connectivity.   BLE applications require a personal mobile device with BLE, Cellular Connectivity and and installed application and are limited to operational range of 100 ft or less.   RoadLinq is a cellular IoT technology and works where ever cellular connectivity is available throughout most of North  America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Non-contact sensor array tracks temperature throughout the cargo area to sense anomalies overlooked by single-point sensors.   The sensor array data is processed and then streamed to the LinqThingz cloud with the data is further processed and analyzed by built-in neural network tools.

Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) are used to interpret complex data and automate actionable results on complex information sets.  This functionality forms a new basis for automated decision making to yield higher performance, efficiency and innovation to transformation of business systems.

Mobile first applications communicate important status of vehicle and cargo parameters to enable peak productivity, safety and performance.   This responsive application runs on most browser enabled equipment with Internet access.  It may be used by vehicle operators, fleet operators or product OEMs.  When OEMs and their suppliers link together with ChainLinq they have a secured, validated, real-time connectivity to their supply chain materials.
